16.63 kW Solar and 41.6 kWh Battery Installation in Lewiston, SA
35 LONGi panels, a 20 kW GoodWe inverter and five battery modules set up for full house backup, replacing the existing system, with a sunshade over the battery.
We diagnose and fix solar faults at farms, sheds and coastal homes across Yorke Peninsula, and replace inverters that are past repairing.
When solar fails on a rural property, it is easy to go weeks without noticing, because the system sits on a shed roof or out the back. Monitoring that has gone offline or a bill that is higher than usual are often the first signs. Our electricians will come out for a free on-site assessment and find out what is happening.
We work across Balaklava, Two Wells, Ardrossan, Moonta Bay, Edithburgh and Yorketown, and the rest of the region, from our Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain. We repair any brand, and we do not charge for travel.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Out on the Peninsula, systems face different problems. Panels on a shed roof are out of sight, so a failure can go unnoticed for weeks. Long cable runs, loose connections, vermin chewing wiring and birds nesting under panels all cause trouble, and coastal air adds corrosion. A drop in production or an inverter showing a fault code is the usual first sign.
Some properties also run off-grid systems with a battery bank. Those need checking as a whole: panels, inverter, batteries and wiring.
We test first, then give you a straight answer. A newer inverter with a simple fault is usually worth repairing. An older unit that keeps dropping out might cost more in repeat visits than it saves, and then we quote a replacement matched to your existing panels. We repair any brand, not only the ones we install.
A licensed electrician from our Adelaide office attends, and the first on-site assessment is free. There is no travel charge anywhere in the service area, so a call to Balaklava or Edithburgh does not cost more than one in the city. You will get the cost of any repair before we start work.
If your system was put in by another company, or that company has closed, we can still look at it. Our own workmanship carries a 10-year warranty, and you will hear plainly what we found. For solar repairs on Yorke Peninsula, book an assessment and we will arrange a time.
Real jobs in the region, added as our crews finish them.

It depends on its age, the fault and the cost of parts. A newer inverter with a simple fault is usually worth fixing. An older one that keeps failing can cost more in call-outs than a new unit. We give you both options with a straight recommendation, and any replacement is matched to your existing panels.
A dead section is often a connection, a cable or an optimiser rather than the panels themselves. On sheds, vermin chewing cable, loose fixings and water in connectors are all possible. We test each string, find the break and repair it, and we will tell you honestly if the panels themselves need replacing.
Yes. We look at off-grid systems as a whole, including the solar array, the inverter and the battery bank, and we check the generator input and wiring. We find out why the system is not keeping up, whether that is a failed part, an ageing battery or a load that has grown. Then we explain the fix, whether it is a repair or a staged upgrade.
Check the inverter display first. If you see damage, water or a burning smell, leave it off and call us. If it has simply tripped, a restart may work, but if it trips again the cause needs finding. Do not force an isolator back on over damaged cable. An electrician can test the system and make it safe.
