Three-Home Solar and Battery Installation in Ashford, SA
Solar and Sigenergy batteries installed at three homes on one site: 29 panels and a 24 kWh battery at the front home, 16 panels and a 16 kWh battery at each of the two back homes.
We diagnose and fix inverters, solar systems and batteries across the southern suburbs, whichever brand is on the wall.
The southern suburbs have a lot of solar, and some of it is getting older. We repair and service systems in places like Marion, Glenelg, Hallett Cove, Reynella and Noarlunga Centre, sent from our Salisbury Plain office, with licensed electricians doing the work.
The first step is a free on-site assessment. We read the inverter and its app, check the isolators, cabling and panels, and find out what is actually wrong. Then you get a written quote for the repair, or an honest answer if replacement is the better option.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Look for a fault code on the inverter, an app that has gone offline, a drop in how much the system produces, or a power bill higher than you expected. A tripped safety switch can also point to a problem. Many systems in the south were installed years ago, and inverters usually wear out before the panels do. Near the beach at Glenelg and Brighton, salt air adds wear to exposed fittings. In the foothills, falling leaves and nesting birds are the usual trouble.
We test first, so you know what is wrong. If a repair makes sense, we quote it. If the inverter has had its time, we can supply and fit a replacement of any brand, and reconnect a battery if you have one. We do not push a full new system when the panels are fine, and we say so if a repair is not worth the money. That applies whether the system is in Marion or Hallett Cove.
Call 1800 610 165 and tell us the brand, any fault code and what you have noticed. A photo of the inverter helps. If you also have a battery, mention that too. We do not need to have installed the system ourselves. One of our licensed electricians then visits from Salisbury Plain for a free on-site assessment. There is no travel charge anywhere in the southern suburbs, quotes are free, and our work carries a 10 year workmanship warranty.

Check your app or the inverter display first. A fault code, a red light or a blank screen tells us a lot. Also look at whether a safety switch has tripped at the switchboard, without resetting anything you are unsure about. Photograph what you see and call us, and we can often narrow down the cause before a visit.
Often, yes. Inverters tend to wear out before panels do, and panels in good order can keep going for years. If the panels and wiring are sound, swapping the inverter is usually the sensible move. We check the whole system first and tell you if the panels are the weak link instead.
We work on any brand, including ones that no longer have local support. If a part cannot be sourced, we say so and talk through a replacement inverter that suits the panels you already have. You will not be sold a full new system if you do not need one.
They can. Debris and nesting under panels can trap heat, hide faults and damage cabling. A service visit looks at the array, the cables beneath it and the mounting, and tells you what needs doing. Homes with mature trees nearby usually benefit most.
