6.6 kW Solar Replacement in Ingle Farm, SA
A fire-damaged solar system replaced with 15 Jinko 440 W panels and a 5 kW inverter on a corrugated roof, with new earthing to current standards.
If your system has gone quiet, throws a fault or needs lifting off for roof work, we diagnose it on site and give you a written plan.
Solar systems in the northern suburbs have been going on roofs for well over a decade, and plenty are now showing their age. We repair and replace inverters, panels, cabling, isolators and earthing, and we take panels off and refit them when the roof underneath needs work.
Our licensed electricians cover Hope Valley, Clearview, Oakden, Modbury Heights, Ingle Farm and Hillbank, and the rest of the region, from our Salisbury Plain office. The first step is a free 60-minute assessment. We test the system, work out what has failed and give you a written plan before anything is touched.

The north has a long history of solar. Systems from the early rebate years sit on roofs in Hope Valley, Modbury and Salisbury, and many have done their time. Older inverters wear out, panels degrade, cabling gets brittle in the sun, and earthing installed to an earlier standard may not meet today’s. Storms and lightning add their own damage, and some of it only shows up weeks later as a system that underperforms.
Re-roofing, gutter work and roof repairs all mean the panels have to come off first. We disconnect the system safely, lift the panels off and store them, and once the roofers are finished, we refit and wire everything and test it. The system is checked end to end before we call it done, so you are not left wondering if it came back to life.
If you are after solar repairs in Salisbury or solar repairs in Tea Tree Gully for this kind of job, the process is the same on tile, tin or corrugated iron.
Not every fault means a new system. We test first and then tell you what is worth repairing and what is not. When parts are no longer available or the system is past it, we say so and quote a replacement matched to the output you already have.
Every job carries our 10-year workmanship warranty. Quotes are free, and nothing is added for travel anywhere in Northern Adelaide.
Real jobs in the region, added as our crews finish them.

Yes. We shut the system down, disconnect and remove the panels, store them safely and refit them once the new roof is on. We then test the wiring, isolators and inverter before handing it back. Tell us the re-roofing dates early so we can fit around the roofers.
Sometimes. If the panels are sound and the fault is the inverter or a connection, a repair can add years. If the panels have degraded badly or parts are no longer made, replacement can be smarter. We test the lot and give you both options in writing, repair first.
We can inspect the system, find what failed and replace it. Storm damage often hides in the inverter, isolators or cabling as well as the panels, so we test the whole system. What your insurer covers is a matter for your policy, and we can tell you in plain terms what we found.
It might be. A drop in production can come from a tripped inverter, a failed string of panels, shading that was not there before or a lost internet connection. We start with the monitoring data and then test on site to find out which. Book a free assessment and we will check.
