We're experienced solar installers helping families and businesses on the Sunshine Coast harness clean, renewable energy. Our comprehensive solar solutions are designed to reduce your electricity bills whilst contributing to a more sustainable future.
Our Sunshine Coast office at Corbould Park opened late 2025, and the electricians who work from it hold QLD electrical contractor licence 1512582. They design each system and fit it, from Noosa down to Caboolture and Bribie Island, across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and up to Gympie. The company behind them has installed solar since 2017, more than 4,000 solar and battery jobs, each with a 10-year workmanship warranty.
Start with a free assessment. An electrician spends up to an hour at your place, looks at the roof and your bills, and designs for that house, not a package. No travel charge applies anywhere on the Coast, and the quote costs nothing. If you are comparing solar installers on the Sunshine Coast, that hour is a fair test. Ring 1800 610 165 to book.
We’re experienced solar installers helping families and businesses on the Sunshine Coast harness clean, renewable energy. Our comprehensive solar solutions are designed to reduce your electricity bills whilst contributing to a more sustainable future.
Solar, battery and EV charging on one platform: sized to your bill, installed by your local SAA-accredited team.
We install residential solar across the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Cooroy and out to the hinterland: Maleny, Mapleton, Montville, Kenilworth. Every system is sized to your actual quarterly usage and your next 5 to 7 years of plans (EV, heat pump, ducted air, pool heating), with the Cheaper Home Batteries Program rebate handled end-to-end so the number on your quote is the number you pay.
Key Benefits:

When you’re considering solar or battery options, choosing the right solar provider makes all the difference. We’ve built our reputation on delivering quality solar installations that genuinely help our customers save money on their electricity bills.

Our approach focuses on understanding your specific energy requirements. We source our solar energy equipment from reputable manufacturers known for reliability and performance. Our product range includes high-efficiency solar panels, quality solar inverters, and advanced monitoring systems.

A DC-coupled hybrid inverter is battery-ready out of the box. If you add a battery later, no inverter swap is required: the hybrid talks to the battery on the DC side and the install is incremental, not a teardown.

The cost difference between a string inverter and a hybrid inverter on a 10 kW install is around $800 to $1,200 ex-GST. The cost of replacing a string inverter later to add a battery is materially higher than that gap plus a second install fee. For any household that might add a battery during the system’s 10 to 15 year inverter life, the upfront hybrid choice is the cheaper lifetime path.
All installations comply with:
Our team holds relevant qualifications and insurance, providing you with confidence in both the installation process and ongoing system performance.
Maximise your solar investment with battery storage solutions. Modern battery systems allow you to store excess solar energy generated during the day for use during evening hours or power outages.
We offer battery solutions that integrate seamlessly with new or existing solar installations, helping you achieve greater energy independence.
Battery payback is the single most-asked question we get. There is no average. It depends on your after-dark usage, your peak tariff rate, your feed-in tariff, whether you’re on a flat or time-of-use plan, and whether the CHBP rebate applies to your install date.
Most Sunshine Coast residential battery installs since mid-2025 attract the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program rebate. As of May 2026 the rebate works out to roughly $260 per usable kWh for the first 14 kWh of battery capacity, with reduced support above that. The rebate now declines every six months through to 2030. The longer you wait, the less it’s worth. Current rates and eligibility are on the Federal Government solar batteries page.
Illustrative scenario, not a specific customer (numbers rounded):
System sized: 10 kW solar + 13.5 kWh DC-coupled battery (Tesla Powerwall 3).
Every quote we issue includes this maths run against your actual usage, not postcode averages. No headline payback figures.
If you have an EV or are planning one in the next 3 years, the integration decision belongs at design time, not three years later as a retrofit. Retrofitting EV charging into solar that wasn’t designed for it costs roughly twice as much and gives half the experience.
Why? Because a smart EV charger needs to read your solar export and battery state of charge in real time to decide when to draw from the grid, when to draw from solar, and when to pull from battery. If the inverter, battery and charger are three different brands talking to each other through CT clamps and a Wi-Fi bridge, you live with the worst of all three apps and warranty conversations that ping-pong between manufacturers.
Add 4 kW of array and 10 kWh of battery to the design now. Roof space is finite; trying to retrofit panels later means scaffolding, re-permitting, and often a second meter swap. Battery modules from Sigenergy, Sungrow and GoodWe are designed to stack so the upfront battery doesn’t need to be full size. You can add modules in year 2 if cash flow is tight.
All DC-coupled hybrid. We don’t install AC-coupled bolt-on batteries on new systems. They’re ~10% less efficient round-trip and double the warranty conversations. The four options below cover 95% of Sunshine Coast residential needs:
| Battery | Best fit | Usable kWh | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sigenergy SigenStor | EV households, future-proofing | 8 to 48 (modular) | Single DC bus with bi-directional EV charging. Our #1 pick for new EV homes. |
| Sungrow SBR HV | Three-phase homes, larger families | 9.6 to 25.6 | Proven workhorse. Pairs with SH-RT hybrid inverter. Strong warranty. |
| Tesla Powerwall 3 | Clean install, simple needs | 13.5 | Best app experience. Integrated hybrid inverter inside the unit. |
Sigenergy is our default recommendation for any household installing or planning an EV. It’s newer to market than Tesla or Sungrow but the engineering is exceptional and the bi-directional DC charger eliminates the EV/battery integration headache entirely. Tesla Powerwall 3 is the simplest and cleanest if you don’t want EV integration. Sungrow is the right call for three-phase homes. GoodWe is the value pick.

Standard installs across the Sunshine Coast, including GST, STCs and CHBP rebate where it applies:
| System | Suits | Installed (incl. STCs & rebate) | Payback |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6.6 kW solar only | 1 to 2 person household, lower usage | $5,500 to $7,500 | 3.5 to 5 yrs |
| 10 kW solar only | 3 to 4 people, no battery yet | $8,500 to $11,500 | 3.5 to 4.5 yrs |
| 10 kW solar + 13.5 kWh Tesla | Family of 4, after CHBP rebate | $17,000 to $20,000 | 5 to 6.5 yrs |
| 13 kW solar + 20 kWh Sungrow | Larger family, future EV | $22,000 to $27,000 | 5.5 to 7 yrs |
| 13 kW solar + 24 kWh Sigenergy + EV charger | Full integration, EV included | $28,000 to $34,000 | 6 to 7.5 yrs |
Every quote is line-itemed: panels, inverter, battery, mounting, electrical, monitoring, rebate. No opaque “system price” lump sums.

Solar is a 25-year asset. The difference between a good installer and a bad one shows up in years 2 to 7, not week 1. We service every system we install, and we offer ongoing maintenance options so the system keeps doing what it was designed to do.
If your system needs attention later, our repairs team can help:
We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties covering:
Under the New Energy Tech Consumer Code, we’re your point of contact for any warranty claim across the asset’s life. You don’t deal with the manufacturer directly. If a Sungrow inverter fails in year 7, you call us, not Sungrow.

If your daytime self-consumption is genuinely high (60%+), solar alone has a faster payback and we’ll tell you that. The moment you add an EV, heat pump, or move to a time-of-use tariff, battery wins. Most Sunshine Coast homes are 5 to 7 years away from that being true, which is why we install battery-ready hybrid inverters on every system, even when you don’t buy the battery now.
Yes. The two options are: (1) keep your existing string inverter and bolt on an AC-coupled battery: cheaper upfront but ~10% less efficient and two warranty paths. Or (2) swap your string inverter for a DC-coupled hybrid and add a battery: more upfront but better lifetime economics. We’ll model both for you and let you decide.
1 day for solar only. 1 to 2 days for solar plus battery. Plus ½ day for EV charger integration. Power off only 2 to 4 hours, which we schedule with you in advance.
Yes: tile, Colorbond, Klip-Lok and standing seam. We use AS/NZS-compliant penetration flashings, not generic kits. Tile installs take ~half a day longer; we quote it line-item.
We do all of it. Pre-approval before install, post-install compliance lodgement, and we coordinate the meter swap with your retailer. You receive copies of everything for your records.
With a backup gateway, yes, except very heavy loads like ducted aircon (which we usually isolate to a backup sub-board). We design backup scope with you at planning. Most homes back up: lights, power points, fridge, internet, gate motors, and one circuit of essentials.
Solar plus battery typically increases sale price and reduces time-on-market. We give you a transferable handover documentation pack (manuals, warranty schedule, install photos, electrical compliance certificate) that you hand to the buyer. New owner gets the full balance of all warranties.
