Off-Grid Solar and Battery System in Kalbeeba, SA
A 15.2 kW off-grid solar system on a shed roof with a Victron Quattro inverter charger, ten Pylontech batteries and a generator input circuit.
A dead inverter, a system that keeps tripping or panels that look damaged: we diagnose it on site and give you a written quote to fix it.
Gawler has had a lot of solar go on roofs over the years, and some of it is now showing its age. Our licensed electricians repair systems in Angle Vale, Willaston, Gawler West, Reid and Roseworthy, as well as the rest of the area, working from our Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain.
You do not need to have bought your system from us. We start with a free on-site assessment: we look at the system, test it and tell you what is wrong. If the fix is simple we say so. If a replacement makes more sense than another repair, we say that too, and you decide.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
The causes are usually ordinary. An inverter wears out and starts faulting. A connector loosens on the roof. A panel cracks, a string fails or the system trips off and nobody notices until the bill comes in. Houses in the estates have often had solar for years, and larger sheds and farm buildings around Roseworthy can have systems that were never looked at after install.
We cover all of that, from an error on an inverter screen to damaged panels, on any brand. Nothing is too small to ask about, and a quick call to 1800 610 165 will tell you whether it needs a visit.
Our electrician reads the fault and checks the isolators, switchboard and wiring. They look at the roof array and, where it is safe, test each string. They also ask what has changed: when it stopped, whether the app shows anything, and whether trees or building work might explain it.
You leave with a plain explanation and a written quote for the repair. There is nothing to pay for the assessment itself.
Often a repair is enough. Sometimes an old system is better off with a new inverter, or the roof works better with a full upgrade. We lay out the options without pushing any one of them. If you searched for gawler solar installers because your old installer is no longer around, we can still help. We repair other companies’ systems regularly and take responsibility for our own work.
We charge no travel fee in the Gawler area, and quotes are free.

They read the inverter display, check the isolators and switchboard, inspect the panels and wiring, and test what they safely can. They ask when the problem started and what you noticed. Then they explain what they found and give you a written quote. The visit is free.
Yes. We repair systems installed by other companies, including ones where the installer has closed. We cannot take over another company’s warranty, but we can test the system, fix the fault and tell you whether any manufacturer warranty still applies to the part that failed.
Do not climb up to check. Cracked or damaged panels can be an electrical and safety risk, so have them looked at promptly. If you are worried, switch the system off at the isolators and call us. We will inspect them and quote for replacing the affected panels.
It depends on the age, the fault and the cost. A loose connection or a failed panel is usually worth repairing. A tired inverter on an old system may be worth replacing. We give you both options in writing, with our honest view, and you choose.
