When the inverter trips or the output drops, we come out, find the fault and tell you whether to repair or replace.
When the inverter on a hinterland property trips out or the output drops, you want a straight answer. Our licensed electricians repair and replace inverters and service solar systems of any brand across the hinterland, working from our Corbould Park office.
We cover Maleny, Montville, Beerwah, Woodford, Landsborough and Kenilworth, and every locality in between. The first step is a free 60-minute assessment on site. We test the system, read the inverter records, tell you what has failed and quote the repair in writing. The visit is free and there is no travel fee.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Hinterland systems often have long cable runs, ground-mounted arrays or panels on a shed away from the house. That gives faults more places to hide. A damaged cable, a loose connector or a failing isolator can drop a whole string, and trees growing over a roof can slowly change what an array produces. Inverters can also reach the end of their working life.
If your system has stopped producing, or your bills have jumped, it is worth a look before the problem grows.
We start at the inverter, read its fault history and then test each string back along the cable. We check the isolators and connectors, and the switchboard connections that carry the solar. Where a shed array is involved, we follow the run to the building. You get a plain explanation and a written quote. Searches for solar repairs in the hinterland often start with a blinking red light, and that is a fine place to begin.
Sometimes a repair is small. Sometimes the inverter has had its day and replacement is cheaper than chasing faults. We tell you which, with the reasoning, and we never push a replacement when a repair will do. We can replace an inverter with a new unit, including a hybrid one if you want a battery later. We work on any brand, including systems fitted by other installers.
Quotes are free, and there is no travel charge anywhere in the hinterland. Call 1800 610 165.

It depends on the age, the fault and parts. A young inverter with a simple fault is usually worth repairing. An older unit that keeps failing, or one that is hard to source parts for, is often better replaced. We test it, tell you what we found and quote both options, so you can choose.
It could. Long runs to a shed or ground mount can suffer from damaged cable, loose connectors or a failing isolator. We test each string and follow the run back to the switchboard to find the break or loose point. That is part of the assessment, and we quote the repair once we know.
An electrician spends about an hour with your system at no cost. We read the inverter’s fault history, test the strings, check the isolators and the connections at the switchboard, then explain what we found in plain words. A written repair quote follows. You pay nothing for the visit and no travel charge applies.
Call us and we come back. We stand behind our work, and the quote sets out in writing what the repair covers, parts and labour. If a fault returns, we go back to the cause rather than patching it again, and we tell you honestly if the real problem is something bigger.
