6.6 kW Solar Replacement with Enphase Microinverters in Beulah Park, SA
Fifteen Jinko panels, each with its own Enphase microinverter, replace a system where a whole row stopped reporting. The old system was removed.
Inverter offline or panels underperforming? Our licensed electricians find the fault, explain it plainly and fix it, whoever installed the system.
Solar has been going onto eastern suburbs roofs for many years, so plenty of systems here are now at the age where inverters fail and panels need a check. If yours has stopped, throws a code or seems to make less than it should, we can look at it.
The work is done by our licensed electricians from the Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain. Beulah Park, Norwood, Burnside, Magill and Campbelltown are all inside our no-travel-charge area, and we fix any brand.
A free assessment of about 60 minutes comes first. We test the system, find the fault and tell you what it needs, then quote the repair or replacement in writing.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Many homes in the eastern suburbs have tile or tin roofs, and some are steep or have several gables. Getting to a panel safely sometimes takes more than a ladder, and walking on tiles risks cracking them, so we plan access before we start. Mature trees add their own problems, from leaf litter around panels to shade that has crept across an array over the years.
The systems themselves vary. Some use a single string inverter, others have microinverters or optimisers on every panel. A fault in one panel can look very different depending on which, and we know how to read each.
We aim to repair when a repair makes sense. A loose connection, a failed isolator or a single faulty panel is not a reason to rip out a system. But if the inverter is old, out of warranty and hard to source, replacement is often cheaper over time. In that case we can fit a hybrid inverter so a battery can be added later.
Whichever way it goes, you get the reasons in writing. If a replacement inverter is the answer, we match it to your panels and your roof, and we deal with the network paperwork afterwards.

It depends on what has failed. A one-off fault on an otherwise healthy system is usually worth repairing. If the inverter is near the end of its life, out of warranty and hard to source, replacement often costs less over time. We diagnose first, then tell you which we would choose and why.
Yes. We plan access first, using roof ladders or walkways and stepping where the tile is supported. If a tile does crack, we tell you and discuss the fix. Steep or high roofs can need extra equipment, which we raise at the assessment before any work starts.
Yes. A service covers the inverter and its logs, isolators, cabling, panel mounts and roof penetrations, and checks output against what it should be. It catches loose connections and slow faults before they become a stoppage. We can also clean panels where that would help.
At the assessment we can usually tell you what is wrong and roughly what the fix involves. The written quote follows once we have confirmed parts for your brand. If a part is hard to source, we say so straight away. Quotes are free and there is no travel charge.
