9.98 kW Off-Grid Solar and 22.4 kWh Battery System in Barossa Goldfields, SA
A 9.975 kW off-grid system of 21 LONGi panels, a 10 kW Sungrow inverter and a 22.4 kWh Sungrow battery, replacing the existing solar system.
If your solar has stopped, shows a fault code or just feels flat, our electricians find the cause on site and fix it.
Most solar faults show up in the same few ways. The inverter throws a code, a string drops out, or the app reads zero on a sunny day. In the Barossa, where systems range from cottage roofs to big sheds, we start by finding the actual cause.
Our licensed electricians travel from the Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain to Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Lyndoch, Williamstown and Freeling with no travel charge. We work on any brand, not only the ones we install.
First comes a free on-site assessment of about 60 minutes. We read the inverter, check the isolators and wiring, and tell you what is wrong, what it will cost and whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Systems in country areas live a harder life: heat, dust, storms and the odd bird or rodent in the roof space. The faults we see most are inverter error codes, a string that stops reporting, damaged cabling, failed isolators, loose connections, and monitoring that has gone offline after a router change. Older systems can also lose output through ageing panels or a failing inverter.
If you have Barossa Valley solar that has gone quiet, the first thing to do is leave it as it is and note any lights or codes on the inverter. Repeated resetting can hide the clue we need.
We test before we replace anything. That means reading fault logs, measuring voltage and current on each string, and inspecting the wiring, isolators and mounts. If the fix is small, we usually do it. If the inverter has reached the end of its life, we explain the replacement options, including a newer inverter that can take a battery later.
Where a part has to be ordered, we tell you the likely wait and what is safe to leave running in the meantime. Sometimes the safest step is to isolate the system until the repair is done, and we explain that too.
We are electricians first, so we can diagnose both the solar side and the switchboard side of a fault. Quotes are free, there is no travel charge anywhere in the Barossa, and the work we do is backed by our workmanship warranty.

Codes differ by brand, but most point to a grid issue, an isolation fault, a string problem or an internal failure. Please don’t reset it over and over. Note the code and brand and leave the rest to us. Some faults are a quick fix, and others mean a part is needed.
Yes. We work on any brand and any installer’s system. Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall are what we are certified for, but we also service and replace inverters from other makes. If a brand has been discontinued, we tell you what can be done and when replacing it is the more sensible path.
Possibly. Output can drop from a failing inverter, a bad string, shade that has grown in, or simple panel ageing. We compare what the system makes against what it should, check the wiring and panels, and report back plainly. Sometimes the answer is a tightened connection.
Work done by our electricians is covered by our workmanship warranty, and any new parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty. If something goes wrong after a visit, you ring us and we deal with it directly, rather than sending you to a manufacturer’s helpline first.
