19.36 kW Solar and 16 kWh Battery Installation in Nuriootpa, SA
19.36 kW of LONGi panels, a three phase Sungrow inverter, a 16 kWh battery with blackout protection and an EV charger on the garage wall at Nuriootpa.
We fit batteries across the Barossa Valley, with backup where you want it, installed by our own licensed electricians.
If you already have panels in Tanunda, Nuriootpa or Stockwell, a battery lets you keep more of what you generate for the evening. If you are planning a new system, we can design solar and storage together.
Our licensed electricians come from the Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain, and there is no travel charge across the Barossa, out to Lyndoch, Freeling and beyond. We install home batteries and commercial storage for cellar doors, workshops and farm sites.
It starts with a free 60-minute assessment. We look at where the battery can go, what your switchboard needs and what you want kept running if the grid drops out, then quote it plainly.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Property here is spread out. Some places sit at the end of a long rural supply line, with a bore pump, cool room, workshop or cellar to keep running. A battery with backup gives those loads a supply when the grid drops, and it stores the day’s solar for the evening, when most houses use the most.
Not every battery suits every site. Backup can cover the whole property or only the essential circuits, and three phase sites need the right inverter. We size the system to your loads, not to a catalogue.
Existing solar can usually take a battery, either through a hybrid inverter or by coupling on the AC side. Which route is better depends on the age and brand of your inverter. We check at the assessment and tell you plainly if an inverter swap would be the smarter move.
For a new system, we design the panels, inverter and battery as one package of work, so the cabling and switchboard are done once.
We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, and the installation is done by our own electricians with a 10-year workmanship warranty. The battery goes where heat, access and safety allow: a garage wall, a shed or a sheltered outside wall. We agree the spot with you first.
Quotes are free and there is no travel charge anywhere in the Barossa Valley.

Only if it is installed with backup. We can wire it to run the whole house or just the essentials, such as the fridge, lights and a pump, depending on your battery and inverter size. We list what you want kept on at the assessment so you know what it will and will not run.
Yes. We install commercial storage as well as home units. Sizing depends on when the site uses power, whether it runs three phase and how much has to ride through an outage. Cold rooms, pumps and tasting rooms all have different loads, so we assess on site first, then quote.
It can. Long rural runs can mean voltage swings and tighter limits on how your system charges and exports. We check your supply and switchboard at the assessment and design around it, so the battery and inverter behave properly on your line. If the supply needs work, we say so up front.
A battery added to existing solar is often done in a day, though switchboard work, three phase or a larger multi-unit bank can take longer. We give you a timeframe with the quote. Batteries need a suitable spot to be mounted, so we agree the location with you before anything is ordered.
