This Barossa Goldfields property is off-grid. The existing solar system was decommissioned and removed, and we put in a 9.975 kW array of 21 LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer LR7-54HVH-475M panels at 475 W, a 10 kW Sungrow Residential SH10RS inverter and a 22.4 kWh Sungrow SBR224 battery.
Clenergy racking was fitted to suit the roof, and the job included a battery balance of system kit with the consumables for a battery install, plus a 4G dongle for monitoring. Battery work was recorded as a tradesman and an apprentice, eight hours each.
The inverter is wall-mounted above the white stacked battery in a small room, with an AC isolator box beside them. The panels are on a roof next to a metal shed roof.
Through the day the panels carry the loads, and the battery runs the property through the evening and overnight. We are a certified Sungrow installer.
