17.34 kW Solar and 15.6 kWh Battery Installation in Goodwood, SA
34 AIKO panels, a three phase Sigenergy inverter and two battery modules with house backup, staged around the scaffold.
Looking for solar in the southern suburbs of Adelaide? We install from the inner south through Marion and the coast to the hills and Noarlunga.
Our licensed electricians design and fit solar across the south, from Goodwood, Kings Park and Glandore through Marion and Somerton Park to Blackwood, Morphett Vale and Seaford Heights. They work out of our Salisbury Plain office, and none of them are subcontractors.
The first step is a free on-site assessment of about an hour. We look at the roof, shade from trees, the switchboard and your bills, then design the system from how your household uses power. You get a written quote, and no travel charge applies anywhere in the region.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Southern Adelaide covers a lot of ground. The inner south, around Goodwood, Clarence Park and Colonel Light Gardens, is older brick homes on established streets. Down the coast from Glenelg through Brighton and Hallett Cove to Seaford, the houses sit close to the water. In the foothills, Belair, Blackwood, Eden Hills and Coromandel Valley have bigger blocks and tall trees. Further south, Morphett Vale, Reynella and the Seaford estates are family suburbs with newer builds.
Shade is the main question in the foothills, so we look at it carefully and place panels where they will work. Two storey homes and steeper roofs need a different approach to access. Many homes in the south already carry older solar, so we often look at expanding or replacing what is there. Where a home is on three phase, we size the inverter to suit. Whether it is Marion solar on a brick house or Glenelg solar near the coast, the design starts with your bills, not a package off a price list.
You get a free assessment, a written design and quote, then our own electricians do the install and handle the network application. Most homes are finished in a day, and larger systems can take up to three. We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, we have installed since 2017, and our work has a 10 year workmanship warranty. There is no travel charge anywhere in the region, from the inner south to Seaford.
Real jobs in the region, added as our crews finish them.

Not usually. Shade is one of the first things we check at the assessment, at different times of day. Where trees cause trouble we can place panels on cleaner roof faces or use panel level optimisers, so one shaded panel does not drag down the rest. If a roof is too shaded, we will say so.
Yes. Plenty of homes already have older solar. We look at what is on the roof, whether the inverter still suits you, and whether the panels and wiring are worth keeping. Sometimes adding to the system works, sometimes a full replacement is the better call. We explain which and why.
No. There is no travel charge anywhere in our service area, including the outer edges of it. Our electricians drive from the Salisbury Plain office. The assessment is free and so is the quote, so the first visit costs you nothing.
Often, yes. A garage, carport or shed roof can take panels when the roof is sound and faces the right way. We check the frame, the sheeting and the cable run back to the house or switchboard. If it works better than the main roof, a shed is a sensible spot.
