6.63 kW Solar and 7.8 kWh Battery Installation in Normanville, SA
13 Jinko panels on a tile roof, a 5 kW single phase Sigenergy inverter and a battery with a house backup gateway.
From the vineyards of McLaren Vale to the coast at Victor Harbor, our own licensed electricians design and install your solar. Quotes are free.
The Fleurieu is a mix of coastal towns, hills and farmland, so no two roofs or switchboards are quite the same. Our own licensed electricians design and install every system, working from our Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain.
We install solar in Willunga, Aldinga Beach, Normanville, Hindmarsh Valley, Kyeema and Strathalbyn, and across the rest of the peninsula. The first step is a free 60 minute on-site assessment. We look at the roof, the switchboard and your power bills, then design a system around the way you actually use electricity. You get a written design and a quote before you decide anything.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Fleurieu Peninsula solar is rarely a standard job. Close to the coast you find newer homes under tile roofs, while the hills and hinterland have bigger blocks, tin sheds and long driveways. Older towns such as Willunga and Strathalbyn have character homes where the roof pitch, the switchboard and the cable route all need a proper look before we promise anything.
On acreage, the best spot for panels is sometimes a shed roof or a ground mount rather than the house. Where the grid is a long way off, we also design off-grid systems with a battery and generator backup. Shade from established trees is common in the hills, so we check it on site rather than guessing from a satellite photo.
It starts with the free assessment. We measure up, check the switchboard and meter, and go through your bills and when you use power. Then we send a written design and quote. Once you say yes, we handle the paperwork and the network connection, our own electricians do the install, and at handover we show you how to read the app and what normal looks like.
We are electricians first, so the wiring is done properly by the same people who designed the system. We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, and our workmanship carries a 10 year warranty. If you are comparing Victor Harbor solar or McLaren Vale solar quotes, ask each company who actually does the install. For us it is our own staff, not a subcontractor.
There is no travel charge anywhere on the peninsula, and every quote is free.

No. We work from our Salisbury Plain office and cover the whole region, including the small towns out on the far edges of it. There is no travel charge for the free assessment or for the install, and the same licensed electricians who quote the job do the work.
We check this at the free assessment. We look at where the trees stand, how the roof faces and what the shade does through the day. Sometimes panels go on a different roof face, a shed or a ground mount, and sometimes we recommend a design that copes with partial shade.
Yes. Shed roofs and ground mounts are common on larger blocks. We check the roof structure or the ground, work out the cable run back to the switchboard and design the array around that. Ground mounts suit open ground with a clear aspect to the sun.
We do. Off-grid means solar, a battery bank and usually a backup generator, sized from what you run rather than from a price list. We look at your loads, your pumps and sheds, and the site on the day. It is a different design from a grid-connected house, and we explain the trade-offs plainly.
