Not usually. We study where shade falls through the day and put panels on the clearest roof plane or on the ground. Where shade is partial, the inverter and panel layout can be chosen to limit the loss. If a tree is the main problem, we say so plainly.
Yes. On acreage a shed roof or a ground mounted frame can suit better than the house roof, especially if it faces the right way and has no shade. We run the cable back to the switchboard and put the extra trenching into the quote.
Three phase supply lets us use a three phase inverter, which spreads the output across all three phases and suits larger systems. We check what you have at the assessment, then size the array to match how your household uses power. Mooloolah Valley and Chevallum properties get the same check.
