We design and install solar at Palmer, grid-connected or off-grid. Quotes are free with no travel charge.
Palmer is a rural locality on the eastern edge of the Adelaide Hills, with Tungkillo and Apamurra close by. Our own licensed electricians travel out from the Salisbury Plain office, and there is no charge for the trip.
The first step is a free 60-minute on-site assessment. On rural properties we look at the supply, the house and shed roofs and where the power gets used, then quote from your bills.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Properties around Palmer are mostly rural: larger blocks, shed buildings and long distances between the house and the road. The right system is rarely the same twice. Some owners want to cut a bill on a grid connection, others want to run with no connection at all, and a few want to start grid-connected and go further later.
We can mount panels on the house, on a shed roof or on a ground frame when the roofs are not ideal. Our licensed electricians handle the design, the installation and the final connection themselves, so the solar installers Palmer property owners deal with are the same people who finish the job. We have worked on sites like these before, and we know what the first visit needs to cover.
Every install carries our 10-year workmanship warranty, and you have one phone number to call afterwards.

Both work. Off-grid suits properties where a connection is costly or you simply want independence, but it needs a larger battery and inverter and careful sizing. Grid-connected costs less up front. We cover both at the free assessment and show what each looks like against your usage.
Yes. Shed roofs and ground frames are common on rural blocks. The shed needs to be sound and have a good aspect, and a ground frame needs clear, firm ground. The inverter and battery can go inside the shed if it is dry and ventilated, which keeps cable runs short.
Not always. A well-sized solar and battery system carries most households through, but a run of cloudy days can drain a battery. Some owners add a generator as a backup, and the system can be built to accept one. We size it on your real usage so the generator is the exception.
