30.09 kW Off-Grid Solar and 40 kWh Battery System in Mount Pleasant, SA
59 Jinko panels on connected shed roofs, a 25 kW three phase Sungrow hybrid inverter and a 40 kWh Sungrow battery, running without a grid connection.

Inside the shed at Palmer, a grey battery stack, its isolator and the inverter are mounted on a black board, with orange DC cable running to the battery and a red DC switch on the inverter. Outside, white conduit runs along the roof of the dark grey steel shed.
This is a complete off-grid system with no connection to the grid. The roof carries 22 Jinko Tiger Pro 440 W panels on Clenergy racking, feeding a Sungrow SH10RT inverter at 10 kW and a Sungrow SBR192 battery with 19.2 kWh usable. A new sub board went in as well, with a main switch, a 16 A RCBO, a DIN mount power point, the main earth and a formply back board.
The panels supply the site by day and charge the battery, which takes over for the evening and night. As a certified Sungrow installer, we fitted the SH10RT and the SBR192 ourselves.
