Palmer needed an off-grid power system, so we put in a 19.95 kW kit: 42 Jinko Solar Tiger Neo JKM475N-60HL4-V panels at 475 W each in rows across a corrugated metal roof, a 10 kW Sungrow Residential SH10RS-ADA inverter and a 19.2 kWh Sungrow SBR192 battery.
The inverter is wall-mounted on a black backing board above the stacked white battery, inside an open-sided shed, with a battery isolator box and a labelled PV/ES isolator. Hills sit behind the roof.
The kit covers Clenergy racking for the roof, balance of system items such as isolators, circuit breakers and cabling, standard wifi monitoring and installation labour. Left out of the quote: switchboard upgrades, trenching or underground cabling, generator connection and data runs. The customer must have internet available.
Off-grid, the panels supply the loads by day and the battery takes the evening and overnight. Sungrow certified us for the inverter and battery on this one.
