This property already had solar, running through two Growatt inverters, and wanted battery storage with backup added. The existing solar stayed in place, and the new battery system was built around it.
Five GoodWe GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 batteries store 41.6 kWh, 40 kWh of it usable, with a 10 kW GoodWe ESA inverter. Both Growatt inverters were restrung. We supplied and installed a protective bollard and upgraded five RCBOs in the switchboard for backup.
