The roof at this Hillbank home needed repairs, and the solar had to come off to allow them. We disconnected and removed 20 panels, stored them on site with their associated components and mounting rails, then reconnected and reinstated them once the repairs were done.
While we were there we replaced the fascia light and sensor on the front veranda with a similar unit.
The crew also noted that several panels had been installed outside the exclusion zones, including near roof valleys and ridge caps on the garage.
In the photos, blue-cell panels run along a terracotta tile roof and a second array of black panels sits on a corrugated metal roof section. An inverter is on a brick wall, and a white stacked battery stands against a cream brick side wall.
