We design and install solar in Hawthorndene. Assessments and quotes are free, with no travel charge.
Hawthorndene sits in the foothills of the Adelaide Hills, between Blackwood, Eden Hills and Belair. We have installed solar here more than once, and our licensed electricians come from the Salisbury Plain office with no travel charge.
It starts with a free 60-minute assessment on site. We check the roof, the trees and the switchboard, then put the quote together.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Hawthorndene is a leafy suburb of established homes, many on sloping blocks with mature trees close to the house. Shade is the main design question here. A tree that casts a shadow across part of the roof for an hour can drag down the output of a whole string of panels, so we study where the shadows fall before we place a single panel.
Hills blocks can be steep, which changes how we get to the roof. We look at the access, the pitch and the roof material at the assessment and price the right gear into the quote.
You get our own licensed electricians and a 10-year workmanship warranty. For solar installers in Hawthorndene that comes with a local run: Blackwood, Eden Hills and Belair are all in our service area. If a tree needs trimming before panels go on, we will tell you which one and why, and we can also design around it.

Shade can cut a panel’s output, and on a string of panels it can pull the others down with it. We look at where shadows fall across the roof through the day, and place panels on the clear sections or use optimisers or microinverters where that helps.
Leaf litter can build up and birds sometimes nest under panels. We can fit bird mesh around the edge of the array if you want it, and rain does much of the cleaning. If trees overhang your roof, a check once a year is a sensible habit.
Yes. We bring the right access gear, whether that is scaffolding, a platform or roof harnesses, and the cost goes in the quote. We look at the block, the slope and the roof pitch at the assessment so there are no surprises on install day.
