Usually, yes. What matters is the existing inverter. Some accept a battery directly, others do not, and in that case the inverter is swapped for a hybrid model and the panels are reconnected to it. We check the model, the age and the panel strings at the free assessment before we quote.
Most go on a garage wall or floor, or in a protected spot outside. It needs clearances, ventilation, room to work around it and a short, safe cable path to the switchboard. We mark the spot at the assessment, and add protection such as a bollard where a car could reach it.
Yes. Each battery system we install is connected to its brand’s app over your wifi, so you can see solar output, battery charge and what the house is using. We set it up before we leave and show you how it reads. If it drops offline later, call us and we will sort it.
