Palmview needed a lot of storage and a place to charge the car. The garage got both.
In the garage the white battery is wall mounted: five GoodWe GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 batteries, 41.6 kWh in all and 8 kWh usable each. We ran the EV cable and installed the EV charger on a clean wall beside it. An ES/PV changeover box sits on an external wall.
On the grey corrugated metal roof, 27 AIKO Solar Neostar panels (AIKO-A475-MAH54Mw) at 475 W give 12.825 kW. A GoodWe ESA GW9.999K-EHA-G20 inverter rated at 10 kW runs the system.
The surplus goes into the batteries, and the charger lets the household put that solar energy into the car.
