13.26 kW Solar and 20 kWh Battery Installation in Medindie Gardens, SA
A full solar replacement over two days: 26 AIKO panels, a Sungrow inverter and a 20 kWh Sungrow battery.
We install new battery systems and retrofit batteries to existing solar across Adelaide, and the first step is a free on-site look at your board and your bills.
Looking for solar batteries in Adelaide? We fit home and commercial batteries in Prospect, Medindie, Vale Park, Nailsworth, Blair Athol and Walkerville, either with new solar or onto a system you already have. Our own licensed electricians do the work from the Salisbury Plain office, so the same business designs, wires and supports it.
It starts with a free 60-minute assessment on site. We check your switchboard, your existing inverter if you have one, and how you use power across the day and evening. Then you get a written quote at no cost, and there is no travel charge to come out to you.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
A battery stores the solar your panels make in the day so you can use it in the evening. In the older streets of the inner north and east, that often means working around a tight switchboard and a limited spot to mount the unit. Garages, side walls and utility areas are the usual homes for a battery, and we choose the position with clearances and cable runs in mind.
Backup is the other decision. A battery on its own does not keep the house running in a blackout. That needs a backup-capable inverter and the right wiring. We can set up backup for the whole house or for chosen circuits, and we tell you what each option will carry.
If you already have solar, we look at the inverter first. Some systems take a battery as an add-on, and some are better served by swapping the inverter for a hybrid unit. We tell you which, and we do not suggest a replacement when an add-on will do. For a new system, the panels, inverter and battery are designed together.
We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, and we fit GoodWe batteries as well. Everything carries our 10-year workmanship warranty.
After the assessment we design and quote, then handle the approvals and the network application. Our electricians fit the battery, wire the backup circuits, commission it and set up monitoring so you can see what it charges and discharges through the day. Quotes are free, and there is no travel charge anywhere in our service area.

Only if it is installed for backup. Standard grid-connected solar and batteries switch off in a blackout for safety. With a backup-capable inverter and the right wiring, the battery can power the whole house or chosen circuits. We explain which option suits your loads at the assessment.
Usually, yes. It depends on your inverter. Some work with an add-on battery, and some are better replaced with a hybrid inverter. We look at what you have at the assessment and tell you the simplest route, including whether your existing panels can stay where they are.
