21.6 kW Solar and 54.6 kWh Sigenergy Battery Installation in Pie Creek, QLD
45 AIKO panels, two 15 kW three phase Sigenergy inverters, seven Sigenergy batteries and an EV charger, with house backup through a Sigenergy gateway.
We fit batteries to new solar and to existing systems around Gympie, with backup designed for the circuits you actually need running.
A battery lets a home use its own solar after dark and, with backup wired in, keep key circuits running when the grid drops. We install home and commercial batteries around Gympie, either with a new solar system or added to solar you already own. Our own licensed electricians design and fit them, working out of Corbould Park with no travel charge.
We cover Pie Creek, Southside, Araluen, Amamoor and Kybong, and the localities between them. We start with a free on-site assessment: we look at your existing inverter, the switchboard, where a battery could sit and what you want backed up, then quote from that.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Around Gympie you find everything from compact town houses to large acreage with sheds, bores and pumps, and a battery suits each of them differently. On a typical house it stores the midday surplus for the evening. On a bigger property it can be sized to carry the loads that matter during an outage, such as the fridge, lights, internet and a water pump.
Plenty of people start by searching for gympie solar installers and end up wanting a solar and battery quote in one go, which we can do. If you already have panels, we check the inverter first. Some can take a battery as they are, and others need a hybrid inverter or an extra unit. We tell you which before you commit.
Backup is wired to the circuits you choose, so the battery is not asked to run the whole house unless it is built for that. Many rural properties are on three phase, which affects the inverter and how backup is arranged, so we confirm your supply at the assessment. We also check where the battery will sit, because location and clearances decide that as much as taste does.
After the free visit you get a design and a quote. We handle the approvals and the network side, then our electricians install, commission and test the system and show you how to read the app. We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, and workmanship carries a 10-year warranty. There is no travel charge from our Corbould Park office, and quotes are free.

It can, if backup is part of the design. We wire backup to the circuits you pick, like the fridge, lights, internet and a pump, or to the whole house if the system is sized for it. A battery without a backup setup will not do this, so tell us at the assessment what you want to keep running.
Usually, yes. How simple it is depends on your inverter. Some accept a battery directly, and others need a hybrid inverter or a second inverter alongside. We check the model, the age of the system and your switchboard at the assessment and give you the plain answer before we quote.
Three phase changes how we arrange the inverter and backup, so we plan for it from the start. Some systems back up all three phases and others only selected circuits. We confirm your supply at the free assessment, explain the options and tell you what each one would keep running in an outage.
In some cases, but off-grid is a different design from a grid-connected battery. It needs more battery, more solar and usually a generator for long dull spells. We do not promise it over the phone. We assess the load, the site and your budget first, then tell you honestly whether staying connected with a battery is the better fit.
