14.73 kW Solar and 40 kWh Battery Installation in Albert Park, SA
31 Jinko panels on four roof faces, a 10 kW GoodWe inverter and five GoodWe battery modules beside a side wall.
We fit batteries to new solar systems and to existing ones across Port Adelaide, with licensed electricians doing the wiring from start to finish.
A battery lets you use more of your own solar after the sun goes down. We install them on new systems and as a retrofit to solar that is already on the roof, from Albert Park through Semaphore, Birkenhead and Largs North.
Our licensed electricians come from the Salisbury Plain office. We start with a free on-site assessment of about an hour, where we look at your inverter, your switchboard, the space for the battery and how you use power through the day. Then we design the battery around your evening use and, if you want it, backup for the circuits that matter. The quote is in writing and there is no travel charge.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Many homes here sit on compact blocks, and the older ones were never planned with a battery in mind. Finding the right spot matters. A battery wants a sheltered wall or a garage with clear space around it, and a short, tidy cable run back to the inverter and switchboard. Near the water, salt air is a further reason to choose the position carefully and use the right fittings. The assessment is where we settle which wall, which model and how many modules.
If you already have solar, we look at the inverter first. Some take a battery as they are, some need a battery inverter added, and a few older units are better replaced. We tell you which path makes sense and why. If you are putting in solar and a battery together, we design them as one system, so the equipment, wiring and switchboard work are planned once. If your solar is a few years old, we also check the roof wiring and isolators while we are there.
We have installed since 2017. We are certified for Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Powerwall, and we install GoodWe batteries too. Our electricians do the install, commission the system and set up the app with you. The work carries our 10 year workmanship warranty.

Usually, yes. It depends on the inverter you have now. Some can take a battery as they are, some need a battery inverter added, and a few older units are better replaced. We check the model, the switchboard and the roof wiring at the assessment, then tell you which option suits your house.
Only if it is wired for backup. A battery set up for backup can supply your whole house or a set of essential circuits, such as lights, fridge and internet. How much it can run depends on the model and its size. We talk through what you want kept on and design the wiring around that.
We look at where the battery can go, how far that is from the switchboard, the inverter you have, and whether your supply is single or three phase. We also go through your bills to see when you use power. It takes about an hour, it is free, and you leave knowing what fits.
Yes. The brands we install come with an app that shows solar production, battery charge and what the house is using. At handover our electrician sets it up with you on your phone, and if the readings ever look wrong you can ring us rather than guess.
