13.3 kW Solar and 33.28 kWh Battery Installation in Kin Kin, QLD
A 13.3 kW LONGi solar array with a 10 kW GoodWe inverter, four GoodWe batteries and house backup, with breakers upgraded and a concrete slab.
We install batteries with new solar and retrofit them to systems already on the roof, with backup wired to the circuits you choose.
Battery enquiries in Noosa come in two kinds: people building a new solar and battery system, and people with panels already up who want to store what they export. We do both, and we fit commercial batteries as well as home ones. The work is done by our own licensed electricians, from our Corbould Park office, with no travel charge.
We install in Tewantin, Noosaville, Castaways Beach, Peregian Beach, Boreen Point and Kin Kin, and the other Noosa localities. Your first step is a free on-site assessment, where we look at the existing inverter, the switchboard and the wall or garage space for the battery before we put a number on anything.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Most home batteries mount on a garage wall, a carport wall or a sheltered outside wall, with clear space around them and a short cable run to the switchboard. Beachside homes and units can be tight on space, and near the water we keep the battery out of the weather and away from salt spray where we can. On hinterland blocks around Pomona, Cooran and Kin Kin, a shed or a purpose-built slab is often the better spot.
A lot of Noosa roofs already carry solar that is a few years old. Adding a battery is often possible, but it turns on the inverter you have. Some take a battery directly, some need a hybrid inverter, and some systems are better updated when the panels are still sound but the inverter is the weak link. We check this on site and give you the plain answer, with no pressure to replace what works.
If you have been looking at noosa battery installers, ask each one who does the electrical work. Ours is done by our own licensed electricians, and backup can be wired to the circuits you choose, from the fridge and lights to the whole house.
The free assessment takes about an hour. We then design the system from your bills and how you use power, handle the approvals and network connection, and install it. At handover we test the battery, set up the app and explain what each screen shows. Workmanship carries a 10-year warranty. There is no travel charge in Noosa and quotes are free.

Yes, and usually for the better. During the day the house runs on solar first, the battery charges from the surplus, and only what is left after that goes to the grid. In the evening the home draws from the battery before it draws from the grid. We set the operating mode up at handover and explain what the monitoring is showing you.
A battery can mount on a wall in a garage, a carport or a sheltered outside wall, as long as the spot meets the clearance rules and suits the cable run. At the assessment we measure the places you are considering and tell you which one is allowed and sensible. Tight sites can still work.
Sometimes. Older boards may be full, may have no space for a backup circuit or may not meet current standards, and that has to be fixed before we connect anything new. We inspect the board during the free visit and, if work is needed, we price it into the quote so it is not a surprise later.
Book the free assessment and we arrange a visit from the Corbould Park crew. After the visit, we prepare your design and quote from what we measured and from your bills. Having a recent power bill and your inverter model handy on the day speeds things up.
