13.3 kW Solar and 33.28 kWh Battery Installation in Kin Kin, QLD
A 13.3 kW LONGi solar array with a 10 kW GoodWe inverter, four GoodWe batteries and house backup, with breakers upgraded and a concrete slab.
When a Noosa home needs the electrical side sorted for solar, a battery or an EV, our own electricians handle it start to finish.
Many Noosa houses have grown over the years, with extensions, granny flats, sheds and a fair bit of added wiring. That is usually where electrical work starts. We upgrade switchboards, install EV chargers, run supply to sheds and outbuildings, and handle three phase upgrades, as the licensed electricians who also install solar and batteries. We travel from Corbould Park at no charge.
We work in Marcus Beach, Peregian Beach, Cooroy, Eumundi and Tinbeerwah, and the other hinterland and coastal localities. A free on-site assessment comes first. We inspect what is there, explain what needs to change and quote it.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Many Noosa homes have been added to over the years, with extensions, granny flats, sheds and a fair amount of extra wiring. Others are newer builds with smaller boards that run out of room once solar, a battery or an EV charger is added. That is where most of our electrical work in Noosa starts.
If you are looking for an electrician noosa homeowners can call without being passed to a subcontractor, our own licensed electricians do the work from first look to final test.
We install EV chargers, upgrade single phase homes to three phase where the network allows it, run supply to sheds and studios, and add circuits for new loads. On the hinterland blocks around Eumundi and Tinbeerwah the distances can be long, which affects cable size and protection, so we measure the run before we quote. Near the coast the issue is more often space on the board and where equipment can sit.
You book a free assessment of about an hour. We inspect the board and wiring, discuss what you want to add, and tell you what is needed and what is not. A clear quote follows, with safety work kept separate from new work so you can see what each part is for. Our electricians then complete the job and test it. Workmanship carries a 10-year warranty, there is no travel charge from Corbould Park, and quotes cost nothing. To talk it through first, ring 1800 610 165.

Yes, if the charger and inverter are set up for it. The charger can be told to use spare daytime solar rather than draw from the grid. At the assessment we confirm what your current inverter supports, and if your solar is not installed yet, we design the two together.
An electrician visits for about an hour. We look at your switchboard, the wiring we can see, the meter and the spot for whatever you want added, and we ask what you plan to run. You get a plain explanation of what is needed, then a written quote. There is no charge and no pressure to go ahead.
Yes. Long cable runs need the right cable size to keep voltage drop in check, a proper board at the shed and protection at the house end. We measure the route at the assessment, check the existing supply can carry the extra load and tell you what is involved, including whether the run will need trenching.
It can be. Older wiring, ceramic fuses or an overloaded board need attention before a new system is connected, because an inverter and its protection need a sound switchboard. We inspect it during the free visit and quote any upgrade separately, so you can see which part is for safety and which part is for the new work.
