Kin Kin is a bush block, and the long corrugated iron roof there carries 28 LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer panels (LR7-54HVH-475M), 475 W each, for 13.3 kW. A satellite dish sits nearby.
A GoodWe ESA GW10K-ETA-G20 inverter rated at 10 kW runs the system. Four GoodWe GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 batteries give 33.28 kWh, each rated at 8 kWh usable, and they stand on a concrete slab. That puts 33.28 kWh of battery behind a 13.3 kW array.
House backup is part of the job. Seven breakers were upgraded under the backup allowance, which is what lets the backed up circuits keep running if the grid goes down.
