Out around Burdett, in the Murray Bridge region, the next town can be a fair drive away, so reliable power counts. Gifford Hill and Mobilong are close by. Our own licensed electricians come from the Salisbury Plain office.
It starts with a free on-site assessment of around 60 minutes, where we look at your solar, your supply and the loads you want to protect.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
A rural property often has loads a suburban house does not: pumps, workshops, sheds and cold rooms. Motors draw a big surge when they start, which decides the inverter and battery combination. We list what you want kept running and design the backup around it. Cold rooms, pumps and sheds on separate circuits each need a decision, and we make it with you rather than for you.
Our electricians assess the site, install the battery and test the backup, with the paperwork done for you. For solar batteries Burdett properties need, we pick between Sungrow, Sigenergy, Tesla Powerwall and GoodWe, and the work carries a 10-year workmanship warranty.
We have been installing since 2017, and one team looks after the job from the first visit to the switch-on. The first visit is free, there is no travel charge to Burdett, and we explain the app and the warranty before we leave.

Yes, if it is done properly. Batteries need set clearances, ventilation where required and protection from knocks and heat, and we install to the Australian standards. Many outbuildings can work, but we check the spot and say no to a bad one.
Some systems accept a generator as a backup source for long outages, and others do not. If a generator matters to you, tell us at the assessment so we can choose an inverter that supports it and wire it correctly.
It depends on the motor’s starting load and the inverter’s backup rating. Pumps and big tools draw a lot at start-up. We list the loads you want kept running, check the figures and design the backup circuit around them, so it does what you expect.
