EV Charger Installation with Long Cable Run in Mallala, SA
A customer-supplied EV charger on about 50 metres of 10 mm2 AC cabling from the main switchboard, on a rural property with a shed and carport.
Licensed electricians for Mallala homes, farms and sheds: EV chargers, switchboards and cable runs, with free quotes and no travel charge.
Out past the northern edge of Adelaide, Mallala and its neighbours Reeves Plains, Grace Plains and Korunye are a mix of township lots and rural blocks, often with sheds, carports and long driveways. Our own licensed electricians come from the Adelaide office at Salisbury Plain, and there is no travel charge.
The first step is a free 60-minute assessment on site. We look at your switchboard, the distance to where the power is needed and what you plan to run.
A licensed electrician measures your roof and your bill. No phone quotes.
Properties around Mallala tend to spread out, with the house in one place and the shed, carport or workshop a good way off. That changes the electrical work. Cable size, voltage drop over distance, protection and trenching all matter more than they do on a suburban block, and a charger or workshop circuit has to be sized for the run, not just the load.
We start at the switchboard. Older boards on rural properties often need work before anything new goes on them, so we check what is there, what it can carry and what should be upgraded. You get a written quote after the visit. The work is done by our own licensed electricians, then tested before we leave.
If you are also thinking about solar or a battery, the same visit covers it. For an electrician Mallala locals can ring again later, one number reaches the same office: 1800 610 165. Our workmanship carries a 10-year warranty.
