Not usually. A 7 kW single phase charger works on a standard single phase home supply. Three phase chargers are faster but need three phase supply into the house. We check which you have at the assessment and recommend what fits your car and your parking spot.
Sometimes it will, sometimes it will not. We check for spare circuit space, the condition of the board and the load already on it. If it is full or old, we can upgrade it as part of the job. You get that answer at the free assessment, before any work is quoted.
