6.6 kW Solar Replacement in Ingle Farm, SA
A fire-damaged solar system replaced with 15 Jinko 440 W panels and a 5 kW inverter on a corrugated roof, with new earthing to current standards.

The first call at this Oakden property was an assessment. After a lightning strike, the brief was to test the building’s electrical items once mains power was back on, solar, air conditioning and hot water included, and report back on any damage.
The solar system had taken the worst of it. Conduit in the roof was damaged. The strike had done internal damage to the inverters, phase to phase, and both were beyond repair. The optimisers under the panels were not reporting and no voltage was coming from the roof at the DC isolators, which pointed to the optimisers being beyond repair as well.
The replacement is two SolarEdge three phase inverters, 44 panels rated at 370 W each and 44 SolarEdge optimisers, one per panel.
