The shed at Hope Valley needed roof and wall repairs, and the solar on top of it was in the way. So it came off first.
We disconnected the lights and wiring to the ceiling and walls, then took off the 20 solar panels and the racking. Once the repairs were done, we reconnected the lighting and wiring and replaced the 20 panels with panels similar to the existing ones.
New PV1F 4 mm2 DC cabling and new DC isolators or disconnection points went in with them. The racking is new, to comply with current standards, with new earthing to the racking, and the system is set out as per the original design. We then tested the system and its components and confirmed they were working.
