As a certified Sungrow installer, we supplied and installed this off-grid system as a Sungrow kit: one SH5.0RS inverter running continuously at 5 kW, five 3.2 kWh Sungrow high voltage batteries for 16 kWh of storage, and 20 Jinko JKM415M-54HL4 panels on Grace mountings to suit the tin.
On the carport brick wall, the inverter, the PV isolator box and a stacked white battery sit on a concrete slab. We ran the AC cabling to the shed sub board, and supplied and installed a 12 way sub board, a 32 A main isolator, a GPO, a 16 A RCBO, an earth stake and the main earth connection.
With no mains supply, the batteries carry the evening and overnight loads on the property.
