This Mount Barker home already had panels on the roof. We kept them, took the old inverter off the wall and restrung the existing array into a new GoodWe ESA inverter rated at 10 kW.
Then the roof got more. Fourteen LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer panels at 475 W each, 6.65 kW in total, now sit on the same dark corrugated iron. Inside, on the left as you walk into the garage, three GoodWe GW8.3 battery modules stack up with 8 kWh usable in each.
The switchboard was upgraded so the whole house stays on in a blackout, not just a few circuits. A GoodWe EV charger went in as well, placed where the owners wanted it.
