Birdwood wanted a large solar array, a very large battery and backup for the house. The roof carries 47 Jinko Solar Tiger Neo 510 W panels, 23.97 kW in total, on Clenergy racking.
The system is built around a Sigenergy SigenStor EC three phase hybrid inverter with six Sigenergy SigenStor BAT 8.0 battery modules, 48.36 kWh in total. A Sigenergy three phase gateway provides the house backup connection.
The battery stands on the floor against a brick wall. The gateway and a labelled PV and energy storage enclosure are mounted on the wall nearby, and a metering cabinet sits separately out in the paddock.
Deionno is a certified Sigenergy installer, so the inverter, battery and gateway were fitted by people trained on the platform.
