The old system at this Port Noarlunga South home came off first. We decommissioned and removed it, and the components were recycled or donated through approved charitable channels. A Foxtel dish was taken off the roof too.
In its place went 42 LONGi Hi-MO X10 Explorer 475 W panels, 19.95 kW in total, in rows on Clenergy racking on a grey corrugated metal roof: one array on the south face, a second on the west. The inverter is a GoodWe ESA GW15K-ETA-G20 rated at 15 kW, paired with five GoodWe GW8.3-BAT-D-G20 battery modules, 41.6 kWh in total.
The white battery is fixed to a garage wall with an isolator box above it, and the switchboard was upgraded to Type A RCBOs.
