Westbourne Park wanted a bigger solar system and a battery added to it.
That meant 44 AIKO Solar Neostar 2S panels at 440 W each, 19.36 kW in total, on Clenergy racking across a dark grey tin roof. A Sungrow Residential SH10RS inverter, 10 kW, takes their output. Storage is one Tesla Powerwall 2: 13.5 kWh, all of it usable. It is wall mounted in the garage over a concrete floor, and a Deionno-labelled solar distribution board is fitted on the brick wall.
The solar feeds the house through the day, and the surplus tops up the battery, which then covers the evening. Network pre-approval, the balance of system materials and rubbish removal were all in the job. We are certified for both Sungrow and Tesla Powerwall, and the install was planned over two days.
