About this solar installation in Norton Summit

27 panels, 27 inverters. At Norton Summit each Jinko Tiger Neo JKM440N-54HL4 (440 W) is paired with its own Enphase IQ8AC-72-M-INT, so panels on different roof faces work independently of each other.

That suits a dark corrugated tin roof with panels across several faces around a whirlybird. This replacement system comes to 11.88 kW on Clenergy racking, and the conduit and junction box are fixed neatly under the panel rails. Behind the house are water tanks and hills.

The new array supplies daytime loads first, and anything left over goes back to the grid. The job ran two days and covered the solar only, with network pre-approval, balance of system materials, delivery and rubbish removal.
