A metal tool dropped during roof maintenance and panel cleaning smashed the surface cover of one panel at this Clearview property. We replaced all of them.
The new set is 15 Jinko 440 W panels or similar, sized to match the existing 6.6 kW output. The old panels were removed and disposed of. The house is two storeys, so a scissor lift and access equipment were used to reach the roof safely.
New bird mesh went around the perimeter of the array. In the photos a long run of panels sits on a grey corrugated roof, with an isolator and bird mesh at the roof edge, and a Sungrow inverter and a new switchboard on a brick wall.
