At this Willunga property the main switchboard is in a back shed and a sub board is in the house, so the cable length for the charger was worked out on a site visit. The quote allowed for up to 20 m of extra cabling if needed.
The charger is a single phase Tesla Wall Charger on a steel plate on the side of a grey steel shed, with a grey isolator box beside it. Inside the shed are an inverter and a small board on the wall, and a new white two-row switchboard on an internal wall.
All cabling is to Australian Standards and the testing is to AS/NZS 3000. The job also covered EV monitoring, a clean and tidy worksite, and certification with a customer walkthrough.
