The charger was the customer’s own: a ZJ BENY EV home charging station, single phase, at Colonel Light Gardens. We installed it with all the cabling completed to Australian Standards and tested it to AS/NZS 3000. The mains cabling size was checked before installation, and afterwards the worksite was cleaned and tidied, with certification and a customer walkthrough.
The switchboard was upgraded at the same time, with all new Hager switchgear: a 63 amp main isolator, two 16 amp power RCBOs, two 10 amp light RCBOs, a 40 amp garage circuit breaker, a 16 amp hot water service RCBO and a 32 amp main switch for the inverter supply.
In the photos, the black charger and its coiled cable are on a painted white brick wall under a steel carport roof, with an isolator beside it.
