48 kWh GoodWe Battery Retrofit in Bli Bli, QLD
Six GoodWe batteries and a 30 kW GoodWe inverter added to the existing solar, with whole-house backup (not the air conditioning or pool) and a hot water timer.

Gas out, electricity in. This Peregian Springs home was moving more of its energy use onto electricity, with a battery, an EV charger, a heat pump and the gas supply removed.
The battery side is a Sigenergy SigenStor EC 10.0 single phase inverter rated at 10 kW and four Sigenergy SigenStor BAT 8.0 batteries, 32 kWh in all. The white battery is wall mounted on a clean garage wall with its warning label, and the inverter and ES/PV box are on the external walls. A single phase Sigenergy gateway provides the house backup, and seven circuits were switched over to Type A RCBOs for it.
We also fitted a Sigenergy EVAC 7 charger and an Emerald Energy 320 L heat pump. The electrical work was ours, and a partner company did the plumbing. The gas was decommissioned and removed back to the point with the meter capped, which leaves the option of a future reconnection. A Bosch cooktop was supplied and installed. We are certified Sigenergy installers.
