We fitted a GoodWe ESA inverter, rated at 10 kW, on the garage wall with three GoodWe GW8.3 battery modules beneath it. On paper that is 24.96 kWh, and 24 kWh of it is usable. The existing system was left as it was: the new one is AC coupled to it, with a 20 m AC cable run back to the board.
A bollard now stands beside the stack on the garage floor, and the isolator sits on the wall just above.
