This Deception Bay home needed a battery with backup for its lights and power. It got an EV charger in the garage too.
The battery is a Sungrow SBR224 at 22.4 kWh, all of it usable, paired with a Sungrow Residential SH8.0RS-ADA inverter rated at 8 kW. On a brick external wall the large white inverter sits above the grey stacked battery, with an AC isolator beside it and a black PV and ES enclosure nearby.
Backup runs through a main switch and RCBO changeover, with four circuits changed over. If the grid drops, the lights and power circuits keep going.
The charger is a Sungrow 7 kW single phase unit. We also supplied and installed a sun shade cover. Sungrow certifies us as installers.
