A battery job with a few extras. At Gawler South the crew of two tradesmen booked two days to put in a 16 kWh Sungrow battery and a 10 kW hybrid inverter, and to do some other electrical work for the customer: spa cabling, power points and mounting some televisions.
The battery is a Sungrow SBR160, 16 kWh usable, stacked white against a carport wall. The inverter is a Sungrow Residential SH10RS, and it is mounted with a small isolator on the dark grey brick wall beside the battery.
Network pre-approval, balance of system and rubbish removal were part of the work, and we are a certified Sungrow installer. With the battery in, the household draws less from the grid once the sun is down.
