The new garage is where this Tea Tree Gully job comes together. The Powerwall 3 is mounted on a black backing board, with an isolator beside it and the wall-mounted Tesla EV charger above.
On the roof, 31 Jinko Tiger Neo 440 W panels, 13.64 kW, face east on grey tin and sit on Clenergy racking. The Powerwall 3 has a 10 kW inverter built in, so the solar and the battery run through one unit. The EV charger is a single phase Tesla.
Network pre-approval, balance of system and rubbish removal were part of the install, and we are Tesla Powerwall certified. The panels run the house by day and charge the Powerwall, the Powerwall takes the evening, and the car can charge from home solar.
