8.64 kW Solar and 40 kWh GoodWe Battery Installation in Yandina, QLD
18 AIKO panels on a Colorbond roof, a 30 kW GoodWe inverter and five GoodWe batteries, with a new switchboard enclosure.

The gateway and the inverter position on this Maroochy River property are a long way apart. To manage voltage drop we ran 66 m of 16 mm four core and earth cable between them, using underground conduit and roof conduit.
It is a single phase system with house backup, including backup circuits in a shed. Five circuits were upgraded for backup, so those circuits stay live through an outage. The array is 24 AIKO Solar Neostar panels at 480 W each, 11.52 kW in total, with a Sigenergy SigenStor EC 10.0 single phase inverter and a Sigenergy gateway.
Three Sigenergy SigenStor BAT 8.0 batteries hold 24.18 kWh. The battery stands on a floor mat in the corrugated iron shed, and the inverter is on an external brick wall with a tidy open distribution board.
